BVSc, MANZCVS (Medicine of Cats)

Emma first joined the team at Mt Evelyn Vet Clinic and Animal Hospital in 2009 to cover a maternity leave position.  By the end of this, she liked it so much and had become such an integral part of our team, that she decided to stay on.

Emma graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2001. She has since worked in the Yarra Valley and the UK. Emma completed a year long course in Feline Medicine through the University of Sydney and then in 2012 successfully passed her exams to be admitted as a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (Medicine of Cats).  This year she completed a year long course in ultrasonography of dogs and cats, through the University of Sydney. Emma is a member of the Australasian Society of Feline Medicine and the International Society of Feline Medicine's Academy of Feline Practitioners.

Emma is married to Jamie and has two pets, Matilda the dog and Lewis the cat. Matilda is a Staffy cross adopted from the Battersea Dogs Home in London. She loves her new life in Australia, especially the beaches. Lewis was adopted from the Animal Aid in Coldstream and thinks he is a dog.

In her spare time Emma enjoys running with Matilda, travel, reading and bike riding.
