Crissy joined the clinic team in September 2022, after 10 years of experience in Aged Care. Her lifelong passion for animals led her to complete a Certificate III in Animal Studies in June 2023.
At home, Crissy is kept company by her beloved pets. Tigerlily is her 11-year-old tortoiseshell tabby cat. Tigerlily recently completed chemotherapy for lymphoma and is now back to enjoying her favourite pastimes—playing with toys and exploring the outdoors on her harness walks.
Crissy also shares a special bond with Dellas, her 13-year-old Quarter Horse gelding. They’ve been together since he was nine months old and love going on trail rides. Despite recently having one eye removed, Dellas has adapted wonderfully and is happily back on the trails.
Outside of work, Crissy enjoys horse riding, hiking, and taking day trips to explore new places. She’s also a big fan of discovering new wineries and breweries.
Crissy’s favourite part of her role is the variety and hands-on nature of the work. No two days are ever the same, and she loves constantly learning and growing.
