Sheree joined the Mt Evelyn Vet team in January 2015, having completed a placement with us as a final-year vet student in 2014—and she’s been with us ever since!
Before attending vet school, Sheree earned a degree in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience from La Trobe University in 2011. She then completed her veterinary studies at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 2014. During her studies, Sheree had some incredible experiences, including working in South Africa to learn about wildlife conservation and health, and in Laos, caring for sick and injured elephants. While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, her special interest lies in emergency and critical care.
Sheree lives with her husband Matt and their playful kitten, Storm. Storm is a cheeky little thing who thinks she’s a dog—she loves belly rubs, enjoys water, and even plays fetch!
In her spare time, Sheree enjoys jogging, reading, food, and travel.
